Our new puppy

A friend of mine called me awhile back and asked me if I was still looking for a bulldog. She was looking for a new home for her bulldog and new we were missing our clyde.Clyde stayed with Judie because it was not safe for him to fly over here. Judie was very happy to keep him for us and we were happy that he was getting a good home even though we would miss him very much. They are getting along very well.
Anyway we told her that we were wanting a bulldog and would love to give her bulldog a great home. We agreed to meet up in Tampa the day after Christmas to pick up the bulldog.
We went up to Tampa and spent the day at Busch Gardens. It was so much fun and we got in free since we are military. The boys had a great time seeing the animals and Carver rode his first big roller coaster. We wish we had more time there because we didn't get to see it all but we know we will go back. Later that night we went to the hotel to me Ashley and the bulldog(ms chubs). The boys didn't get to meet her until the next day since they were asleep when we got there.
After a nice breakfast we went to meet ms chubs and visit with friends. we got all of Ms chubs things and headed for home. Since it was a four hour drive we decided to head straight home instead of exploring a little more. We stopped to get her a leash and a collar and pig ear. she happily chewed on her pig ear the whole way home.
She has been doing really well here but is a little skidish. She was scared of the baby for a while but now really likes him and can't help but lick him every chance she gets. He likes her now too and loves to pull on her. I try and make sure he is very nice to her. The bigger boys love her and think she is great! They still miss clyde but are starting to love her.

Sylas turned six months old on the eleventh of this month. He has gotten so big. He is not crawling yet but I am sure he will be soon and that doesn't slow him down at all! He scoots all over the house getting into everthing. He also rolls very well. He is very proud of himself. We are very proud of him too. He love to smile and laugh. He is a very happy boy when mama is around. He is very attached to mommy. He loves Carver. Carver can make him laugh and he just thinks Carver is great. Sylas went to the doctor the other day and he is 21 pounds and I think he is 28 inches long( could be wrong about that though). He loves to have tummy time on the floor and play with cars ( because he can move them around) and he loves his jumparoo also. He also does really well in the stroller. We try and take two walks a day to take and get carver from school. For the most part he does well. He loves other people and has lots of smiles for them. I can't wait for his first Christmas! He is getting a new highchair since he is eating solids now.
The boys really like him even though Zane says he doesn't like him sometimes. Usually it is after sylas has been crying in the car. It is funny to see Zane holdin his ears when sylas is crying. I try and remind him that he was a baby and cried too but he still wants to get rid of sylas. I remember Carver wanting to get rid of Zane when he was a baby.
Sylas talks a lot. Mostly jibber jabber but he loves to tell you what he thinks. I think he get frustrated because he can't communicate with us. He will soon though I think. He is a very smart boy. We love him so much and he brings us so much happiness

My sister told me about this website called creativecomunications.com where she got a bunch of advent and christmas activities for really cheap. I ordered some things from there and we started on them yesterday even though it is already the 14th. We got an advent chain that you put together each day and read the verse and do an activity. We read a couple of the verses and put a few links in the chain. It was all about the stars in the bible. We also got a look and find devotional that is a Christmas devotional. They pick something from the bible like the apple from the garden of eden and talk about it and then we have to find it in the picture. The boys really liked it and the devotional was pretty short so we could do a bunch or maybe get one in before school. Also we got a fun advent that we had last year called what God wants for Christmas that comes with a nativity and presents to open after you read the story. You open one present a night until christmas. It is really cute and the boys loved it.
At walmart I got a book called God gave us love. It is so cute and it is a really good book about how God gave us love and how we need to love others even when we don't want too. I was hoping it would help the boy be nicer to each other. We shall see!
